Boosters FAQ

ROSEMOUNT YOUTH HOCKEY BOOSTERS -  FAQ:

When do the Boosters Meet?

The 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in RCC Room 212.

Who can participate in Boosters?

All RAHA parents are invited to attend and participate!

How do I become involved in Boosters?

Start by joining our Booster Email List to start receiving notices regarding meetings, events, and requests for volunteers. You can then choose to participate in your areas of interest and as your schedule allows. To join the Booster email list, contact RYHB Secretary Lynn Sweetman @ lynnsweetman@charter.net

Specifically, what do the Boosters do?

Boosters organize many projects and events throughout the year to promote Rosemount Hockey among our families, in the community, and to raise money for our association. For example, these are some of the items on our calendar this season…

RAHA Apparel & Merchandise                            Annual Squirt B/C Tournament

Leprechaun Days Parade Float                          Hockey Days

RAHA Membership Directory                             RAHA Player gifts

1st Year Coaches Jackets                                   Tryout Evaluator Lunch                                      End-of-Season Event

How do the Boosters spend their funds?

In addition to sponsoring the items listed above, RYHB has purchased or contributed substantially to the purchase of the following:

Concession Stand Hot Dog Machine                    New Center Ice Logo at RCC

The New Traveling Jerseys                                 Concession Stand Popcorn Popper

Mite and Squirt Goalie Equipment                      Rink Dividers

Prizes for S.K.A.T.E. Event                                STP Shooting Ranges

Arena Sound System Upgrades                         All-RAHA Photo

Russian Boxes                                                  Power Skaters

Sponsor & Sportsmanship Banners                    Blue Tables at the Arena

Does Booster participation count toward my volunteer requirement?

It depends. If you are able to help out occasionally, your time or donation is GREATLY appreciated, but does not count toward your volunteer requirement. However, elected officers and those who commit to at-large positions receive credit toward their volunteer hours requirement. Note that serving in these positions will involve more time commitment than 5 or 10 hours.

What Booster Positions (Officers and At-Large) are available each season?

            President                                              Vice President

            Secretary                                              Treasurer

            Merchandise Coordinator                       Assistant Merchandise Coordinator

            Tournament Director                              Assistant Tournament Director

Special Events Liaison                          Initiation Program Liaison

Who should I call if I have questions about RYHB?
