RAHA At Large PositionsRAHA Members, Although the hockey season just ended, the newly elected RAHA Board of Directors has already begun the planning process for the 2009-10 season. As you know, RAHA is a volunteer-based organization that cannot function without the support of its membership. To that end, we are asking for help from the “at-large community” to fill certain key positions for the coming season: Tournament Committee Member (3 needed) Job Description: Assist RAHA Tournament Coordinator and fellow committee members with the planning and implementation of Rosemount’s annual Thanksgiving Bantam C-PeeWee B2 tournament and any District/Regional tournament(s) that RAHA may host (usually 1-2 tournaments held sometime between Feb 20th and March 20th). Requirements: - Attendance at Tournament Committee planning meetings as needed - Availability to assist as needed during tournament play Term: 12 months (April 1-March 31) coinciding with Board of Directors term Compensation: Full Volunteer Credit for One Family (up to 10 hours) Fund Raising/Events Committee Member (3 needed) Job Description: Assist RAHA Operations Manager and fellow committee members with the planning and execution of all RAHA fund raising activities and miscellaneous events including, but not limited to the raffle, bowling night, Gertens sales, Halloween Party etc. Requirements: - Attendance at Fund Raising Committee meetings as needed - Availability to assist as needed during fund raising activities Term: 12 months (April 1-March 31) coinciding with Board of Directors term. Compensation: Full Volunteer Credit for One Family (up to 10 hours) Team Picture Coordinators (2 needed) Job Description: Coordinate team pictures for all RAHA teams and age groups, and work with the RHS Blue Line Club to publish RAHA team photos in the High School programs. Requirements: Availability to perform all duties according to schedule and deadlines, with the primary time commitment occurring between September 1 and January 1 Term: 12 months (April 1-March 31) coinciding with Board of Directors term Compensation: Full Volunteer Credit for One Family (up to 10 hours) Initiation Program (IP) Communications & Support (2 needed) Job Description: 1-Mite Level, 1-Mini Mite Level - Works with IP Coordinators to communicate necessary RAHA information to IP families. Also assists in events planning including, but not limited to, the pre-season meeting, jamboree(s), end-of-year party(s), etc. Requirements: A Player(s) at the respective level. Availability throughout the season as necessary. Term: 12 months (April 1-March 31) coinciding with Board of Directors term Compensation: Full Volunteer Credit for One Family (up to 10 hours) If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved in the program, this is your chance.
