Initiation Program (IP) Levels

IP (Initiation Program)

The RAHA Initiation Program (IP) program is a community-based hockey experience for boys and girls ages 8 and under. It’s designed to teach the fundamentals of skating, passing, and basic hockey skills in a fun, high-energy environment that builds confidence and a love for the game.

Our focus is on development, not competition, through practices that challenge players while keeping the experience enjoyable and rewarding.

Time Commitment: The season generally starts in early November and concludes in late February / early March.

Ice Time: Ice times for IP teams generally last 60 minutes and are often shared with other RAHA teams. Each team will also have access to full-ice sessions during the season, which coaches and managers can use for skill development, scrimmages, or other team activities.

Locations: Rosemount, Inver Grove Heights, and new location TBD

At RAHA, we believe hockey is more than just a sport—it's an opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun together.

Season registration opening July 10th!
