If you have a daughter who’s looking to play hockey for the first time, RAHA has free registration for girls playing for the first time at all levels. Visit the Girls Play Free page for more details.

RAHA is excited to announce that for the 2025-26 season, boys who are brand new to hockey can play for free at the Initiation Program (IP) level!

Have a son who’s curious about trying hockey for the first time? This offer is for boys who have never played organized hockey before and are registering at the IP level—which includes Termites, Mini-Mites, and Mites.

To get started, please complete the First Year Boys Play Free Request Form. Once approved, you'll receive a code to use during registration that will waive the standard fees.

A few important details:

• This offer is limited to first-time players at the IP level only: Termites, Mini-Mites, and Mites.
• Equipment is not included and must be provided by the family.
• Families are still responsible for any additional team-related costs, if applicable.
• Volunteer hours are still required for families participating at this level.
