The Irish Squirt A boys competed in the Scott Benedict Memorial Thanksgiving Classic and came back with 3rd place.  It was a great start to pool play with an opening 4-3 victory over Edina.  A 3-3 tie against Woodbury would put them in a must win situation against Prior Lake to secure a final 4 spot and they will get it with a 6-0 shutout.  The bad news was the Irish would have to get by #1 ranked OMG for a shot at the title.  That ladder would be too high to climb in a 5-1 loss, but the boys would battle back to earn some hardware in a 5-1 win over Apple Valley.
