2019 Street Hockey Tournament - Sunday July 21st

Welcome to the 2019 Street Hockey Tournament.   Kids will play a 3 on 3 format on a 60x40 ft rink (outlined with chalk) at RCC.  There will be no goalies and each game will have a referee.  We will have refreshments available during the event and prizes for the winners!  

Cost and Game Play: $20 per player and includes an event team Tee-Shirt.  All players will play 3 games and each game will run 20 minutes.

Divisions: 

Each division will be made of 6-8 teams with a minimum of 6 players on each team.  All registrations should be based on the 2019-2020 Minnesota Hockey registration birth date ranges.

PeeWee/12U: 7/1/2006 to 6/30/2008

Squirt/10U: 7/1/2008 to 6/30/2010

Mite/8U: 7/1/20010 to 6/30/2012

MiniMite/6U: 7/1/2012 to 6/30/2014

All play will be Co-Ed!  

***Please note that if an age group only has 2 teams we reserve the right to cancel that group***

Approximate Playing Times:

MiniMite/6U & Mite/8U is 9:00am - 11:30am 

Squirt/10U & PeeWee/12U is noon - 3pm.  

Weather: 

We will play rain or shine.  In the event of severe weather, we will suspend play until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike is seen or peal of thunder is heard.  In the event that the weather does not subside after 60 minutes, the event will be canceled with no refunds will being given.  

Required Equipment:

Helmet with face mask, hockey gloves, hockey stick and athletic shoes are REQUIRED. (no sandals or flip flops)

We strongly encourage elbow pads, knee or shin pads, mouth guard and protective cup to keep your players fully protected.  


Registration Instructions:

  • All parents will REGISTER and PAY for their player in an individual registration where you will also complete and sign the event waiver.
  • You will be able to register your player as part of a Team (see below) or as an Single Player who will be placed on a team by the event coordinators.
  • Parents coordinating a Team should choose a team name and send it to the parents you are inviting and ask them to list it when registering their player.  Teams should have a maximum of 6 players as we will also be accepting individual registrations and may need to add players to teams.
