Jr. Gold is for players that don't play high school hockey, but aren't ready to hang up the skates.
All Junior Gold teams play in the Junior Gold High School League (JGHSL), which will require driving to games in the seven-county metro area.
In the event your Jr. Gold team attends an out-of-town tournament requiring an overnight stay, NO player will be allowed to have his own hotel room. Minnesota Hockey requires an adult accompany the player and be in the room, even if the player is 18+.
USA Hockey mandates all Jr Gold Players who turn 17 years old prior to December 31, 2024 must complete USA Hockey Safesport online training before they can participate in any JrGold activity or be placed on a team roster.
Players can register through USA Hockey here, then complete Safesport training here.
