Squirt C Green Takes Home 4th Trophy in as Many TournamentsThe Squirt C Green team took home the 3rd Place trophy in Brainerd Feb. 5-7. More... PeeWee B1 Blue Wins Red Wing Invitational Hockey Tournament The Rosemount PeeWee B1 Blue hockey team won the Red Wing Invitational Hockey Tournament during January 29-31, 2010. Rosemount tied Rochester Black 0-0 and defeated Mahtomedi 3-0. They advanced to the semi-finals on a tie breaker and defeated the Des Moines Jr. Bucks 2-0. In the finals, Rosemount and Hastings were tied 2-2 after regulation play and overtime. Rosemount won in a shootout. It was the fourth tournament championship of the season for the PeeWee B1 Blue. S.K.A.T.E. Program Information. RAHA is proud to participate in the S.K.A.T.E. academic achievement program which provides recognition and rewards to student athletes who achieve a minimum 3.0 GPA, or equivalent, during the first trimester of school. Bantam B1's Take 2nd at Rochester It was a great weekend of hockey for the Rosemount Bantam B1's as they defeated almost all of the Rochester teams for this tournament. More... Girls REV U10 B Blue take 4th place at Super Rink Spectacular Tournament REV U10 B Blue take 4th place at Super Rink Spectacular Tournament More... Squirt B Black Gives Back To Community Squirt B Black players collected gently used winter clothing and non-pershible food items on January 10. The boys dropped off the items at the Family Resource Center in Rosemount. The FRC serves about 500 needy families each month. Our team hopes other teams will also collect food items to help our neighbors in need. For more information call the FRC at 651-322-5113. Address: 145th St W and Cimarron Ave. PeeWee PeeWee B1 Blue Wins Rochester Tournament The PeeWee B1 Blue won the Rochester Tournament during games played Nov. 6-8. They beat the Yellowjackets of IL. 6-1, the Chicago Ice Dogs #2 7-0, the Chicago Ice Dogs #1 8-1, and Wilmette, IL. 9-1. In the championship game, Rosemount overcame a 2-0 deficit and beat Rochester Black 3-2. Bantam Bantam A takes Consolation Championship in Hopkins The Bantam A team beat the Rogers Royals in the Hopkins Thanksgiving Tourney 4-3 to take home the first Bantam A hardware in two years. With an opening loss to Andover, the boys battled back to beat St. Michael-Albertville 8-5 to advance to the Consolation Championship. Congrats to the team, parents, and coaches for a successful tourney! Bantam Bantam B1 take Consolation Trophy Rosemount Bantam B1 team took home the Consolation trophy at the Mankato Meltdown tournament over the weekend of November 13-15. In the first game, they lost to Waconia 3-2 in a thriller that went to overtime and then a shootout. The boys found their stride in the next game, beat the host Mankato team 9-0, and beat Owatonna 6-0 for the consolation trophy. PeeWee PeeWee B1 Blue Wins Richfield Tournament The PeeWee B1 Blue won the Richfield Tournament during games played Dec. 3-6. They beat Woodbury Black 4-2, Chisago Lake 5-3, and Spring Lake Park 5-0 in the championship game. In the championship game, Rosemount played their best game ever, even though the score does not reflect it. It was a very physical battle until the last half of the third period when Rosemount wore down the Spring Lake Park team. Squirt Defensive Walkthrough Turns It Around For Squirt A After giving up seven goals in two consecutive games/scrimmages, coach Vannelli finds a vacant lot and walks through positioning in the defensive zone with the Squirt As. Since then, the team has gone 4-1 with all four wins being shutouts against Sibley, Farmington, Mankato, and White Bear Lake. The only loss coming on a late goal by a very good Eden Prairie team to break the tie. Great performances have been put in by Buzz Eigner and Benny Garrity in the nets for all these games! Squirt Squirt C Green Takes 2nd in Rosemount Tourney The Sq. C Green team took home its second trophy in as many tournaments this past weekend in Rosemount. They came out and beat a good Mounds View team in the opener, 4-3, with two goals in the last 7 minutes. In the semi-finals, the boys got behind the hot goaltending of Mason Walls, and cruised to a 4-0 shutout win. The championship game stayed close until a late goal outburst by Woodbury. Thanks to Shelly Conlin for a great tournament, and way to go boys!! PeeWee PeeWee B1 Gold Acquires Hardware PeeWee B1 Gold takes 3rd Place at Moorhead Invitational More... REV U10A Win Big Apple Tourney 3-2 win over a very good Chaska team Friday night. 7-1 win over Elk River on Saturday, and a 4-1 win against Eagan in the Championship Game. Congratulations girls, you deserve it for all of your hard work. PeeWee PeeWee B1 Blue Wins Cloquet Tournament The PeeWee B1 Blue won their third tournament of the year by winning the Cloquet tournament during games played January 15-17, 2010. Rosemount beat Superior White 6-0 and Cloquet White 3-1. In the championship bracket, Rosemount beat St. Cloud 3-1 and in the final, Rosemount defeated Eden Prairie Red 4-2.
